Wills

Seek advice and assistance in making a will.

Have you ever thought about who you would like to pass on your property and possessions to when you pass away? Then, if you have not yet done so, you  should make a will setting out who you wish to pass on your property to after your death, whether it be to family members or friends.

Probate

If there is a will in place, we will apply to the Probate registry for a ‘grant of probate’ authorising the executors to administer the terms of the will.

When there is no will, close relatives of the deceased can apply for a ‘grant of letters of administration’.

A grant of probate is maInly needed to deal with athe deceased’s stocks and shares, some insurance policies and property held in the deceased sole name or as ‘tenants in common’.
